Property Management
Before a sale of property is concluded, the essential steps include registration of the sale deed, examination of the property, and affidavits on behalf of the seller confirming that the property is unencumbered and that immunity and indemnity shall be provided if any claim is brought against the buyer.
Most of the onus is on the seller to ensure that the property is free from obligations on the seller’s side and that title passes to the buyer. The buyer, on the other hand, depends on the information the seller chooses to reveal about the status and encumbrances relevant to the transaction.
