Arbitration Centre

The firm’s approach to dispute resolution led it, on its own account, to establish the Arbitration Centre in a portion of its law chambers. The centre is described as sitting in the traditional business hub and as providing infrastructure for arbitrations and other conciliatory meetings at a nominal cost.

Arbitration is described as effective for large commercial disputes on building contracts and real estate, for highly technical disputes, and for international commercial disputes involving a foreign entity or person. Mediation, including the framework associated with the Mediation Centre of the High Court of Madras, is described as suited to personal, family, and matrimonial disputes and to smaller monetary claims. The firm adopts mediation with the client’s consent.
